THE OLD WOMAN

When the Old Woman attacks, she does it hard.

Ankles swelled bad last night, BP spike; bed early, slept off and on 14 hours.

Stomach kind of upset.

Paul gone to Tupelo today to urologist about his tests.  (PSA)

President George H. W. Bush plane leaves Houston for D. C.

Made Marsha copies of a few of Mama's recipes she's going to use for something for Morgan and Heather.

Cried and missed Mama; her handwriting.  She wrote these.  Held the pen or pencil that wrote these.  I hope the girls can appreciate whatever it is just a little.  She wasn't their Mama, though their grandmother and grandmother-in-law.

I want to put up our Christmas tree.  But it's so hard.

Today is a sorrowful day.

Amy will be 45 tomorrow.  Where have the years gone??

This recipe:  Short, may not all be there, but it's legible and can figure it out.  Look at the "Songs of Praise" address.  Likely CDs.  Written on her phone bill envelope.

How I miss Christmas at her trailer.  We all piled in sleeping everywhere.  Funny gifts.  The year Sher and I got her dish TV hooked up.  The microwave.  The breakfasts, dinners.  So much food.  She had so little Social Security, yet there was always plenty for us.  M&M's plain and peanut in bowls.

Cry it out, Old Woman. Cry it out. Eat some lunch.  Take a nap.
