You know how you cannot believe your eyes when something wonderful appears before you? I had that when my sister came to surprise me on my last day of work, January 8. I had it again today when I unexpectedly came upon something from Mama that we had thought was taken care of years ago! I became very emotional and cried for some time. I called Paul. I called Sher. I called Mike. I couldn't get Steve, but left a messge. It doesn't matter what it was; it was just there, as appearing from nowhere. And we all gave thanks and each in our own ways thought, Mama is still taking care of us. I believe God is sovereign and of course, this was not a surprise to Him. He already knew on this day we would be surprised, and I thank Him for that wonderful ray of sunshine from His Very Hand. I know Mama is with Him and she would have had to be laughing. And saying, "Oh, Pat..."
This afternoon I went through coats hanging on the coat rack and in the closet and tried to get them arranged, and put away the heavier ones, pulled out the older ones. Vacuumed, spot cleaned the high traffic path on the carpet, walked Oscar, had supper when Paul came home. He had a long, demanding day and was ready to just sit and relax. I love the days, love them. I saw someone today whom I hadn't seen in a few weeks and she told me how relaxed my face looked! More than one person has told me that!
Carolyn #1's birthday was today and Beck sent pictures, Carolyn is seated. I was there just yesterday, so I didn't go back for the potluck goodies today. We emailed though.

And I've had my 10,000th visitor! That's just amazing. Admittedly some are my clicks, but for the most part, many of you just keep coming back to this little corner of the world, and I love having you visit! I get to write and take pictures, two things I've loved doing since I was a kid. And so, thank you, for visiting. I hope something I write or something I see and photograph adds a small light to your day.
