Just When You Think
Just when you think you have let it all go... just wait. There will be some more.
I finally got some kind of results from my CT scan and the nurse said the doctor said the nodule has increased "slightly" from six months ago, and wants a follow-up in three months. I don't think I want to wait three months. I've seen this doctor in person all of two times, and he's doing probably what every other doctor would do with a patient with a similar problem - wait and see. But I don't want to wait three months to see if it's going to get bigger. What if it has to be removed? How "big" does it have to be and what kind of surgery has to be done if it is any size? I'll probably make an appointment to see him in soon.
