Mama's MonumentI think we made Mama's monument very nice. It occurred to me after the fact that the magnolia is not only the state flower, but it also describes her... a steel magnolia. She was so much stronger in spirit and soul than we ever knew. Is it a gift to know these things afterward, or an indication of how we need to pay more attention while we still have them with us? Maybe both.
