LIFE IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU'RE MAKING OTHER PLANS
The thing is, Jesus knew He would be coming and that His birthday would be celebrated. Sometimes life happens and we slow down and really think about His birth. Possessions often get in the way and we didn't really do gifts last year, nor are we this year.
We have done a lot of housekeeping at Paul's mother's house. We spent last weekend there and will be there during the holidays. Sherron, Melanie, Nate, probably Jordan, will be in Iuka after Christmas and the fact that our families are united is a wonderful gift.
Our busy lives often slow down through no planning of our own. And it's a reminder that we don't need all the stuff - but each other.
