Just When You Think...
After a long, frustrating day, I felt just flat, dry and empty. I breathed a small prayer that God would just lift me up a little – I needed Him. Suddenly I noticed on TV some old hymns by a quartet – the old standards. And I decided to check out my favorite blogs. Psalm 34:18 was for me today and I sent it to a good friend. She said she needed that, too. I could have gone on to bed early, in a sour mood, but there was the music, there was His Word. He is there for us. I decided to reach up my hand, and found His already outstretched to me.
