Spring Allergies

I coughed my head off yesterday. One tickle in my throat after another. I finally got sick of cough drops and even the Hall's Defense lozenges. When I got home, I took a teaspoon of cough medicine and within 30 minutes felt like a zombie. After we ate our frozen pizza (not frozen, but cooked), I had to go to bed and it was only 7:00. I finally slept for about four hours during which time I dreamed about a family on the beach and inside a sort of dark cabin, sand, lightening, storms, housecoats, hallways, even a dog in there somewhere (probably when Oscar came and jumped on the bed) - the whole amalgamation of a drugged dream. When I woke at 11:00, the cough med stupor had about worn off and I finally got back to sleep an hour later. I'm glad I only took one teaspoon; the dosage says two - but I know better. Now I really know better - if I'm desperate enough for the Robitussin again, it'll be one-half teaspoon.

Antique Mommy wrote about Susan Boyle on her blog. AM also announced an on-line Bible study beginning May 4, with a blog started especially for a "classroom." Name of the blog is What Happens When Women Say Yes To God (book by Lysa TerKeurst). The book can be found on Amazon.com; there's a link on the study site.

And my co-worker Ruby has a cousin who's begun a nice blog; it's called The Rutledge Review.

I've got the cough. I feel for you. Have you read MM's blog? If you haven't, read it. I'm thinking about going to the school this afternoon.
