I'm not an American Idol watcher. I stumbled onto this yesterday by accident, so I'm sure I'm one of the last people to know about this amazing lady - Susan Boyle - who appeared on Britain's Got Talent. If you have a dream, watch this. If you want to cheer for the shy person who just hasn't been given a chance to express him or herself, watch this. If you want to be astonished and blessed, watch this. I've seen Les Miserables twice and the trained professional singers have nothing on this woman's talent. The most amazing story and incredible voice to come from a little Glasgow "village." Cynicism turned to cheering. Doubt turned to a standing ovation. Even the title of the song from Les Mis says it all so well. I cry every time I hear and see this. Never judge a book by its cover, a person by their looks, a dream by the unlikeliness that it will come true...

I saw her on Good Morning America this morning and she was awesome. She's got a great sense of humor too! I watch American Idol, I've never seen Simon look at a contestant like he looked at her. It was almost comical to me... he looked like he was falling in love!
