This is one of the blouses Mama had. Yesterday I sewed darts in the front and back and discovered that she had turned up the hem so it wouldn't be so long on her. Letting it out added another inch in length for me, but it was difficult to take those stitches out knowing she had threaded that needle, sat down probably in her blue recliner, and put in the running stitch all around the bottom of that shirt.
Yesterday was nine months since Mama died. I wore the blouse to work today.
