The David Copperfield show was wonderful! It's been a while since reality has been suspended and I've felt the wonder of a kid. He performed a great show and we were all sitting on the edges of our seats, standing, applauding, laughing, and oooohing and aaaahing collectively.
After the show, we ate at Blues City Cafe (on the left of the street scene, with three neon forks on the sign), a couple of blocks away from the Orpheum. Amy and I had bowls of beef stew, Paul had chili and we shared a huge plate of steak fries.
And David Copperfield really must be magic, because it didn't look as if he's aged any (from the second tier, anyway!) since we saw him probably 20 years ago.
