Gray Skies and Hot Flashes
I don't usually have hot flashes and it hasn't rained here to amount to anything for weeks, until Monday. Cloudy, rainy days are only good if I am home napping or under a quilt with a book and a bowl of popcorn. Hot flashes - well, I don't know what to think about that. I just hope they don't become a habit. Power surge, my eye...
But this afternoon I got a forwarded email from someone a couple of us at work know in San Diego, and his home is only three miles from the Harris Fire. Over 1,000 homes have been destroyed, three people have lost their lives, over three dozen injured, and many are sick from the ash and smoke and have had to be evacuated.
My gray skies and hot flashes pale in comparison.
