The days pass and I get my "events" out of order...
On February 12, Amy and I went to Emmy's birthday party where the theme was "All Things Princess." Oh, how sweet all the little girls looked in their princess dresses, tiaras and tiny "glass slippers!" They little guys were dressed to the nines in knight and king outfits. Tara and Tara S, the dads, all did a great job keeping all the tykes occupied with crafts, punch, ice cream push-ups, cake, little "mice" Hershey kisses... The "disco ball" in the princess tent, I heard Tara say, was her Grandmother Jackson's Christmas light ball from her porch many years ago. She finds so many ways to keep the great-grandmothers and grandmothers' memories alive and a part of the little ones's heritage.
