...And More Snow

Predicted to eleven inches by morning. It's been years since I've seen a snow like this. I can remember a couple when we lived in Iuka, when I was a teenager. Very few here since moving to Arkansas to compare to this. It's very pretty but dangerous, confining and inconvenient. The people I've really felt sorry for are the truly shut-ins and those families who had to plan for funerals. Paul was busy this morning between City Hall and the cemetery making sure one family today was taken care of.

Amy made a quick trip out this morning and said it was slick, didn't stay long. Paul was home and City Hall was closed by about 3:00 this afternoon. Oscar was a trooper today and actually did his business out in the yard. The snow was deeper than his legs are long, so he had a little trouble loping around the yard. Bitty has only been out a couple times today and even now is snoozing in her chair in the living room.

Tagan and a friend across the street were building a snowman.
