I Stayed Up Too Late... But It's Friday!
I caught "Monk" just in the nick of time - this is the last season and Sharona was back for this episode - she and Natalie met for the first time; and then I got involved in "White Collar," which premiered tonight. It was pretty cute - reminded me of "To Catch a Thief."
Sher and Jordan went to see "Where the Wild Things Are," and she liked it okay. She said that it was a little more complicated than a five- or six-year old could comprehend, but about nine and up would understand. I want to see it while it's on here; maybe tomorrow.
Paul is going to Starkville again for the MS State/Florida game; he said it was a sold-out game. I would love to go - maybe next year I'll be walking better.
I called for a refill on my prescription but didn't check with the pharmacy to see if it was called in. I have to go check on another one anyway, so I'll ask about it. I am only taking one or half of one at night to alleviate the stiffness, pain and aching. When I do take it, I wake up much more rested, not to mention way less stiff and able to walk. I'm telling you, a broken anything affects other parts!
This has been a pretty short week but with long days! Yesterday I learned I'll be relieving some of the cashiers between one and two o'clock and on breaks. Today I worked some more on the personnel files and got more scanned. I've missed Carolyn, Norma and Wesley being gone to a meeting at another co-op. Beck has been there, though, and she's shared her little Butterfingers with me. (I haven't done well about the Dr Peppers this week.)
I do think my BP is still coming down - this morning it was 130 something over 70 something, which is so much better than it was! Maybe that was a fluke; I'll still keep track of it till time to see Dr B again.
Sunday School class meeting at Pam's in the morning, which I always enjoy. I'll take my camera and tripod for our group picture. This time maybe we can get somewhere that the sun isn't glaring into the camera; the sun washes us out if we stand on the steps.
And tomorrow afternoon I have to get this house back in some kind of order. After Paul and I went to WM the other night, I just sort of threw things out in the utility room. Clothes to be folded, paperwork to go through yet again, the floors must be mopped and Oscar's toys and blanket washed and him, too, and.... oh, I'll worry about that tomorrow, said Scarlett, after all, tomorrow is another day.
