Some of us sit down with a bowl of popcorn to watch TV and relax, or knit, crochet, cross-stitch, or even read a book or magazine - all while the TV is on. Amy has a sketchbook on her coffee table and an assortment of pens and colored pencils. She sketches and draws while watching TV. We had a wonderful time while I was at her house and I miss her; I'm sure Oscar does, too. I don't know what I/we would have done without all her help while my broken leg has been healing. I'm thankful for all that time we had and the ways I could help her out, too, in these last couple of weeks - making her lunches and "first" coffee in the mornings, making soup and cornbread, feeding her dogs, doing a little laundry - just keeping company with her. It wasn't easy coming home today.
Don't get too busy to relax... and doodle!
