Saturday

Paul put one window unit A/C in Amy's bedroom and it has made a world of difference! He's so creative! She turned the temp up on the central unit in the front part of the house, so it's not running full tilt all the time. Amy said it felt so good to sleep in a comfortably cool room. And it's not Ice Age Cold in the front bedroom.

This morning Paul saw a stack of scrap lumber in front of one of Amy's neighbor's house and said he could use it (for something); so she went to ask if it really is scrap. The lady said yes, to get all they wanted. So they loaded up. I know he'll put it to good use. He's cleaned the rest of her gutters out on the house. I don't know where he gets all his energy. I wish I had a thimbleful of it.

Co-worker Ruby's husband Syl (Huling) is in Methodist Hospital here in Mfs; don't know which location. He has breathing problems and had to be hospitalized.

Sher emailed pictures of her yard, fern, bench, pineapple tree from her phone, but I haven't saved them anywhere to post here.
