This morning I went to the Augusta district office for the health screening there and it was over about 9:15 or so. There aren't as many employees there as at Forrest City. All but one employee came and he was on an outage call. The painting/remodeling is about finished in that office and the meeting room looks great. Years ago when co-ops were first built, many were built with full working kitchens. The county home economist would come to do cooking demonstrations for the farm wives and others in the community. This one's gotten a nice facelift.
I drove back to work through Wynne so I could stop by Jean's and wish her a Happy Birthday. She wasn't home so I left her bubbly Peeps and a card, which she found later.
This afternoon was the final session of the CPR classes. Gary Chapman does a great job teaching this and makes it interesting and fun. We realize the serious nature of what we're learning, but he makes the time go by quickly.
Here one of the guys - Tommy Talley - is making Annie levitate and got a good laugh. He didn't realize how hard he was giving breaths, and Annie's back is open also, so the airway/lung bag was against the table.
The girls demonstrated the breaths/compressions, too.
