There has been much said, written, spoken about the election outcome.
Wesley sent me this link this morning, which I have visited before - it's Brother Matt's - but not since the election. There is some great reading here and our pastor has put things into perspective. I had thought about what to say about the election, but this pretty much sums up the truth of the matter. He has said it well.
This is a historic time in our country. There will be changes, some of which I will not agree with. But this is our country, and we must pray for our leaders, our nation. We must pray for God's will to be done - and remember to be responsible and respectful citizens. Antique Mommy wrote about manners in her blog a couple of days ago. The foundation of manners is, after all, loving God and loving our neighbors.
