Answer to Prayer!

Amy had an interview in Little Rock with Roller Funeral Homes, and last night they notified her that the position that was open in West Memphis at Roller-Citizens is hers! We are so thankful and thank God for all His goodness, and helping us rely on Him for this important phase of Amy’s life. She has worked hard and we believe she’ll be blessed and be a blessing to others in this job. She is so thankful, and she won’t have to move. She definitely knows God gets all the praise for this! We’re glad she has this great opportunity.

She has one test she has to complete when the TN state board notifies her and she will need to have her TN license reciprocated for AR, but these are minor events at this point, and Roller knew she would have to complete these steps.

There were so many who prayed for her especially over these last 3 1/2 years. (Can it be that long? But again it seems she only started the classroom work about a year ago!) Most of all we thank God for His hand of protection on her during all the commutes to/from school, to/from work, His grace in teaching us all patience in her apprenticeship, and for her eagerness and willingness to serve Him and others in this way.

I went to a funeral here in January - Lou Bean's. It is a lovely funeral home.

Amy said she did well in the interview and felt very good about it. One of the questions was, "What is the most important thing in communication?" She answered without hesitation, "Listening." That was a big plus, because they told her that only one other person had given them that answer!

Then about 8:30 last night she called us back and said they had offered her this position!
