SIX YEARS

Remembering Mama today... It's been six years. It hardly seems possible.  Mama, far right, with her little sister Shirley and their mother, Flora, my grandmother whom I called Mama for years, then Goobie and I have no idea where that came from. See their heads with scarves, Goobie's hat? This was at the Memphis Zoo, and Shirley is standing beside a water fountain. Imagine that day! Cool enough for coats, sweaters and scarves but a sunny day out to see the animals! Aunt Shirley died six months and one day after Mama.
